In January 2024, the renovation of Boulevard Scheveningen will start. A striking, colorful construction site has been created. The sea will remain visible from the boulevard. Via a large construction bridge, work traffic from Museum Beelden aan Zee will drive directly to the construction site. This way, work traffic does not have to drive on the busy boulevard. During the renovation, the beach tents will be closer to the sea on a temporary boulevard for two summers. Two pedestrian bridges with stairs will be built at a height of 4.5 meters over the construction site. They connect the boulevard with the beach. The beach will remain accessible to everyone via access ramps via the outer edges of the construction site.
